Maybe he genuinely doesn't know . She'll end up in Carrigstown and here's one for you, she'll fall in love with Kate

Ciaran's sister turning up alive and well would certainly make a great twist, it would send him into a tailspin.

Didn't bother changing the channel after FC and Operation Transformation was on. I recognised one of the speakers - Turns out she was Damian's mother in FC. Professor Sabina Brennan, fair play to her

Fair play to her. For some people, acting in FC or other tv shows is just a means to an end. The woman who played Tracey's sister (the nun) is a scientist who regularly used to feature on Seoige & O'Shea back in the day.

So Jane is not going to miss Callum or say she's leaving?

Ellie gets sent off to the hungry pig to get something nice on her own but still has been supervised every where else.

Now KT has supplies for four days...bread and butter so I assume she has a knife. And cereal so she has a spoon . I could pick a lock with that!

Oh and then they disappear from spar without even putting an alarm on. Also as spar is closed it must be late yet ellie is up...are they driving through the night to Cobh...

That was an unusual top on Jane

Also, considering all that has been calculated from Dermo's average stash of money, he has put it away for Zoe and ben. Even if he can access it, he surely has to leave Zoe her half seeing as he is pissing off on her and abandoning her in south America..........so he will have f##k all left and he will loose house and laundrette ( Hughie seems completely detached from any concern for Dermot and their partnership in the business ). This would not be credible even if Kerry ann was calculating the plan let alone an experienced accountant.
    Writers......get a grip

Sure the writers must be there kissing the Blarney Stone.

Kissing the Blarney Stone? Nope. They are obviously sitting on it!

It's the bally ballyness of it that makes it all seem so bally bally.

Farrah and Ciaran decided to wear the faces off each other while she was halfway through serving a bemused customer. He sort of apologised to the guy but Farrah just gave him a kind of smug look and eventually finished the transaction. All very professional and appropriate.

Was that in Wednesdays episode? Il have to rewatch that.

Another thing. Why does Ciaran insist on whispering in the soundproof room?

Hahaha this is the writers way of writing out Zoe out of FC, there just gonna leave her and her sister in South America or whereever she is and never speak of her again.

Weren't Dermot and benny boy suppose to go to them Stephens day? They didn't even rimg her and tell what was happening LOL!

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,085 ✭✭✭CollyFlower

Barry's house has been sold and they're going to be knocking down the walls next week  what about the Stripys, did they get proper eviction notice  Will mama Stripy move in the Attic with Tommy...

It's obvious though the Plan is doomed to failure and Dermot is going nowhere (he was never going to die and Paul was never going to lose all his money......it has been six months of hot air basically).

What about planning permission. Change of use from domestic to a speakeasy..Whatever that is in a residential development. About as credible as the rest of the nonsense around this plan

And thats what crap about FC- they show tragedy like Delores getting cancer and Dermot needing a liver transplant but then they always offer up a fairy tale happy ending every single time, which is totally unrealistic. Yes we know cancer can be beat but there are thousands of families out there who have fought the good fight only to pass away, it happens every day sadly. They should have killed Delores off and shown the effect it then had on the family.

Similarly, Dermot was extremely lucky to have found a donor so fast. In a lot of cases the patient dies and leaves behind a devastated family. It would have been sad, but easier to take, if Dermot had slipped away and the whole Ben/Zoe situation left to sort itself out as they work through their grief. Its almost as if Paul/Niamh/Delores/Dermot have cast iron contracts where they will NEVER EVER be sacked. We all know Paul and Niamh end up back together, we all know Delores will be walking up and down the street in a zimmer frame and Dermot will forever be in it. For Fcuck sake SHAKE IT UP A BIT. KIll off a few deadwood, make FC interesting to watch.

The poor kids of Fair City. Apparently Dermot is going to leg it with the money on Zoe, she'll eventually get back from Galapagos, no home, no foster dad, no brother. Mother who fought so hard to keep her Has run off to the states living the high life with a doctor and no kiddies.

Ben is about to be kidnapped by Dermot, but never mind because neither his foster mother nor birth mother need to be consulted , and they won't bother looking for him either.

Now on to Bens half sis (?) Ellie. Her father definitely won't be consulted on living arrangements, in fact lets throw her into the foster system as there's a disagreement over where she will live. 'Sort out this disagreement and then you're free to do as you please with her' says the social worker to Renee. So, poor Ellie is now going to live above the shop in Christys one bedroom room....or wait is she going to live with Farrah and her boyfriend of 7 days in Charlie Kelly's?

Damo, aka Neckless, Maclean Burke in his Saving Private Ryan role. A soldier on the beach. 4.14-4.21.

Checked his name in the credits after and it's him alright.

It was filmed 20 years ago, 1997 and in the cinemas the following year. Curracloe, Wexford being used for the beach scenes.

I wonder what Tusla would have to say about Zoe being gone for almost 2 months?

The first time that Dermot and Jo split up the social worker took Zoe away. Now Dermot is on his own with a terminal illness and the social workers don't seem to know or care!

I seem to recall he had chemo one afternoon and was told it hadn't worked.

And then gets a new liver and the cancer magically disappears.
