Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am looking for a thin wallet but with a good quality. I find Secrid wallets really good but they are very pricey (the one i like is 65e)

    Are there any similar alike?

    Cheers

To be honest, the quality of the Secrid ones are well well worth it. I've had mine months now and the leather is breaking in lovely. I know it seems a lot in one go but if you think of the price of 2 or 3 cheaper ones, I'd say the Secrid wallet will last far long than those.

Have been using one of these for over a year now and it's still in great nic, definitely recommend the brand and well worth the price

I found this Exentri wallet which in similar price range but it fits my needs more compared to Secrid. Have a look here:

Basically i need wallet which can hold 8 cards (2 are work based security cards) plus 2 notes. I saw video on YouTube that metal part in secrid starts to detach when you put more than 5 embossed cards. What's your experience?

5 cards into the part that flicks up but other compartments as well. 5 does me fine

I gave one two my husband for his birthday 2 and a half years ago. The leather still looks perfect. He loves it and hasn't been to the bank to have his broken cards replaced since he got it. It used to be a regular occurrence.

Cool. What about the metallic part? Is it still attached to the leather? Saw that glue starts to come off after sometime

I went out and bought the secrid cardholder (aluminium). I really like it. Was thinking I could get by with just the money band on the outside but I think now I would prefer a leather cover for the cash. Does anyone know if it is possible to buy the leather cover separately? It seems you've to buy the whole thing again....

I'm looking for just the outer wallet part too, anyone?

I was given one for Christmas a while back, and have been using it now for the past few months (had to wait for last wallet to die).
It's great. Much smaller and handier than older leather wallets. And like CC's hubby I used to have to get my cards replaced at least once a year, don't think that will be happening anymore. It has also forced me to reduce the amount of cards I carry, so I don't have loyalty cards for places I go once every 10 years and a load of receipts and crap.

My one also takes a few coins, and has space for notes. I barely carry cash anymore anyway, so this works perfectly for me.

As an aside, I have no idea why my cards get so wrecked, but it just seems to be the reality.
