Just keep on the look out.
Have you got a particular spec and version in mind or just working to a max budget?

Yes will keep looking. I have a few things I would like but ultimately a good deal is what I am looking for. Too much in common with unkel
That last CPO would have been perfect. Facelift - small distance warranty didn't bother me as I don't drive a huge amount. Sunroof and AP would be nice too.

Not a bargain by any means but a sub £40k CPO after a few weeks of nothing. A few more ~£30k cars showing up on autotrader too. The August lull seems to be ending.

I don't like the 4 year Tesla warranty on the first Autotrader ad, I'd say they are confusing the battery/drivetrain warranty so it's misleading.
Second one only a 60, meh

Yes agreed. And its three year battery/drivetrain warranty at this stage as it's a 2015.

It was never CPO , so agreed on that.

I would have taken a 60, with no options, in pink. For the right money :)

The right money being less than what you would pay for an 85 right? This one is a 60 for the price of an 85.

25kWh less (or thereabouts) => should be 25 * €100/kWh = €2,500 cheaper at the very least, would be my approach

    No , I have decided on a new SR+.

Just waiting until the heat pump rumor to be confirmed/denied before putting the order in.

If you don't need the hatchback, there is a lot to say for the Model 3 brand new!

That car is on very old software, trying to avoid nerfing at superchargers I thought but low mileage speaks otherwise? Looks nice

I think that's just an older picture. The millage is 7000 less in it.

And the other inside pictures are taken 5000 miles ago.

    Just an indication really...

UK Leaf Acenta Spec £23k, less UK VAT, plus Irish VAT and take an FX of 0.89 giving you cost exc. transport of €26k versus Irish price of €30k.
Issue being if you are not a UK resident you will not get the £3k UK subsidy built into figures above.
Might help someone here from NI.
All the extras are also much cheaper in the UK...

Another Model S coming up for auction.

Pre AP and look like poor specs.

Any idea what the previous P85D went for.

According to the report bodywork is perfect despite so many chip marks in the photos. I think the last Merlin car went over fair price. This one, I wouldn't pay over 30k - probably much less.

Zero extras but under 30k GBP. Not sure if this is a bargain though as over the summer I saw some cars 2k GBP cheaper.

The last one in Merlins was an 2018 S100D that went for €65,000.

Sorry I meant the P85D posted here last week but that was in BCA in the UK.

    Anyone for a 2016 AP1 Model S for under £30k ?

Nice price, I'd do homework on what warranty work has been carried out, love to see MCU replaced, motor/battery pack of that era better than previous years too.

Would be interested to see what the Merlins one goes for. White non AP car. Would suspect €30k

That's a great price, would it be the fact it's a 70kW battery pack be the reason?

For a 2016 with autopilot / pano roof etc, seems like a great price (relatively speaking).

The 70 has 69kWh usable, that's not an awful lot less than the 78kWh usable of the 85

It sure is a bargain, sounds like an honest ad too. Hope someone in here snaps it up!

Worth noting that the 69/78 usable figures were before the 4kWh that tesla took back out of usable and into buffer protection.
So even on a brand new pack, 78 is now 74 and 69 is now 65. Add some deg and that's probably 69 and 60 respectively for the 85 and 70.

(My '16 S90D has low 70's in terms of "extractable" usable capacity)

Bjorn mentions it a lot and shows it with the scan my tesla app.
This is an article from 2016 so I think it's outdated

Spoke to this gentleman. Sounds pretty genuine. Car has had MCU1 and driver side door handle replaced. Single owner. Looks well maintained. Have arranged a video call tomorrow. I have questions about the mechanics of a remote purchase. I'm not going to be travelling over. Even though the seller offered to let me test drive it :D
I have Revolut - will upgrade to Premium. Is it safe to put that much on Revolut in one go? I didn't ask if he would accept payment by Revolut. I feel reasonably confident transferring the money and assume he will keep his word. Am I being silly? Do I have a choice with a private seller? What evidence do I ask for? V5C?
Also I'm looking at Eirtrans for transporting the car over. Do people have other cheaper options?

I will probably get a Zappi as I have solar PV. Do I apply for it now? Insurance? Have never bought something from the UK, let alone remotely. Need some help here folks!

I would go over just to experience the drive.
You learn a lot on your first Kong drive hone in a new car.

Revolut allows large transfers even on standard I think. Unkel paid Tesla using Revolut. Even better if the seller has Revolut as it should be instant.

Tell the seller to put the full complete V5 in the glovebox. Tell him
To tear nothing out as you need the complete document for VRT.
