No problem at all. Thank you for the clarification.

5000 euro, even with battery rental, seems very cheap for a 700mile 2016 car.

    2 owners in 700 miles?

What is a Zoe Hybrid 1.7?

And the 700 miles! (really 64k kms) looks iffy alright and the plates are still UK so looks like someone looking to make a quick buck.

Too many unknowns in there! I'd be checking that one over carefully.

And battery lease. Which defeats the main purpose of getting a EV in the first place: reduce monthly outgoings

    2014 Leaf for £6k

From cargiant. No mention of battery lease and cartell.ie does not mention "FLEX", so quite possibly a battery owned car. With Sterling this weak (£6k is only just over €6.5k atm), you can bring this car in for €7k landed with reasonably cheap flight and ferry.

It's a Visia. They can keep it.

Because it doesn't have cruise control and a reversing camera? And some other stuff that most people don't give a toss about?

This is what Acenta has over Visia:

    NissanConnect EV telematics system*
    16" Alloy wheels
    Colour reversing camera
    Cruise control and speed limiter
    B-mode (enhances regenerative braking)
    Rain sensing windscreen wipers
    Automatic headlights

Seems not a lot for your £2,500 extra when new...

Does it have any sort of sensors for reversing?

Leafs don't have parking sensors, it has a 360 degree overhead camera and reversing and forward cameras.

Well you can order parking sensors as a dealer option. The problem there was it's €750 so AFAIK nobody bothered.

Yeah, because it doesn't have all those things listed. The new price is irrelevant, but all those extras make a big difference and make the acenta a pleasure to drive.

    Can you?
I've never seen any leafs with it at all.
Damn and I thought my SVE had all optional extras!:D

You can see why they are not popular.

Does it have DC fast charging?

The sensor probably cost 50 quid and they are charging a fortune to fit. A bit of negotiation could do done

All non XE spec leafs have fast charging.

Yes it does. That's the only thing that is important :p

Cargiant charge a documentation fee of £150 and there's no haggling with them. As far as I know they also don't take a deposit so you could end up wasting a trip in the end.

The telematics and cruise control would be a deal breaker for me (along with all the other stuff too).

People complain about NIssanConnect (aka Carwings) but it has worked flawlessly for me and I regularly use it to check state of charge, start charge, turn on climate control etc.

Each to their own though. If you don't care about those things its a cheap car.

I would only miss the heating timers, or are they in the Visia as well?

That's almost a grand cheaper than the cheapest I have seen (which was a 2016 car), and with current sterling you'd land that for a bit over €21k if you manage to get a cheap flight + ferry and do it in the one day

It's also thousands cheaper than you could get a demo model over here. And with the shortages in the UK, I can't see that car hanging around long. (It wasn't for sale yesterday when I looked). It's not even on the dealers website yet and no pics on autotrader. Anyone want an Ioniq EV, you'd better get your move on :D

    Hmmmm.

Seems to me to be priced as the Brits price their ex Demo hybrids

Would be some result if it a REAL :D Ioniq

    Fingers crossed.....:)

It's what I would buy if I was in the market for one. The phoenix orange is lovely. Shame it is not available here.

And it's gone (might not have been there in the first place). Cheapest Ioniq EV on Autotrader is back to £20k (a bit over €22k landed). Still with sterling the way it is, these are bargains, but usually snapped up very quickly. Cheapest one in Ireland (DoneDeal) is €28k second hand.
