On the upside, the crash fixed all the panel gaps!

Isn’t “S” structural damages that’s been repaired? No thanks. I’d rather pay extra for a straight one, no matter how good it was fixed.

Doesn't Tesla turn off supercharger access to write-offs ?

Or is that only in the US ?

Thats for any "salvage title" cars in the US

US laws allow much worse wrecks to be put back on the road. It's a good policy to limit them as you never know what backyard "mechanic" with a hat has put this back together with no knowledge of EVs beyond youtube

Is it turned off in Europe?

Is it just Tesla's supercharger network or every rapid charger?

Not a bad price for a 2016 L24 even with the mileage...

No, this is only a US thing. Also US superchargers and EU ones are not interchangeable.

Its just the Tesla network AFAIK

    Pretty good deal.
I sold my 2014 SVE L24 2 years ago for a similar amount, and I had more miles.

I wouldn't call any >GBP30k 2014 non performance Model S a bargain at this stage. That one doesn't even have AP enabled.

Sure ELM327 was offered a facelift 2016 S90D for £39,995 from Tesla with warranty!

Next step, within a few months, are the GBP25k Tesla Model S

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,769 ✭✭✭Nedved85

Been watching the Teslas they have on sale there. That red one has been up a while, first at 34k, then down to 32k for a week or two, taken down and relisted..

Seems I misread the offer price. On my invoice it's actually £38200.
So £34k (or even £32k) for a nosecone RWD 85 with no AP seems ridiculous.

Have sorted finance now and all , for my S90D , just waiting for the call from tesla to collect it now!

And compared to the UK prices , the Irish ones are nonsense.
Look at this 2016 S 70 RWD nosecone car
    https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/tesla-model-s-70-beautiful-condition-great-spec/23179750

More expensive than my 2016 S 90 D facelift car from Tesla direct. Why would anyone pay the Irish price? And you wonder why dealers and SIMI have a bad name. I'm convinced these Teslas on DD are not actually for sale (unless they find a loon willing to part with 50k for that) but merely to up the OMSP for VRT

That's the bottom line of what you are paying, incl. any delivery charges and what not?

You got yourself a great deal there. Would have been a good price from a private seller - you got a CPO.

And it came from Uk too so dealer should have sourced the car at UK market value.

You'd get away with this nonsense on a Corolla where Mary wants to buy off the local dealer.

But you'd expect a typical Tesla buyer to be much more clued up.

There's no delivery charges as I am collecting it, as far as I'm aware anyway.
Have attached the invoice - pii redacted of course

Make sure do laps of it before setting off and avoid multi stories. They are as wide as a tank .

Well wear nice motor and the Pano . Excellent

Yeah I would avoid Dublin multi-stories. Won't fit. 5m length is ok, but it's too wide.

I love it when I discover options or features that I never knew were there, it’s better than Christmas morning.

Tallaght Hospital multistorey is a joke even in a small conventional car.

I think the architect was an East German designing for Trabants.

Fingal County Council are certainly not competent to be making decisions about the most important piece of infrastructure on the island. They need to stick to badly designed cycle lanes and deciding on whether Mrs Murphy can have her kitchen extension.

I managed to fit a GMC Sierra full size american pickup into a couple of multistoreys. I reckon I'll be grand :P

The main difference being that the truck would eat a bit of concrete pillar for breakfast and would look better after. The Model S, not so much :p

Yes I think I will be a little more precious about my model S compared to the truck!

So what price do you think 2014 Model S will go to when Model 3 is fully available?

I was expecting it to have dropped already given all the UK Model 3 arrivals. But no sign of it.
