Ioniq was driven to its new home in Cork this morning :-)

Not a mega bargain, and the big milers that were for sale are now sold, so this is the cheapest Tesla Model S for sale in the UK at the moment at GBP29,950 asking price. Late 2014 Model S 85, but with AP and just had MCU replaced (and upgraded to 4G) by Tesla

I'll keep an eye out. Though i'll keep my distance. They might get weirded out since they're not an actual boardsie.

Did Tesla misprice this? Or was someone very quick. It's gone from their site already.
    2014, model S85
    51k miles
    £26,600

Looks about right for a non-ap car. Tesla have sold cheaper ones (they never long on the site).

But now all CPO cars are down. I am guess they are having a virus shutdown.

Cheapest Nissan Leaf in Ireland (with a battery) I would say, surely a bargain at 4K

£/€ could be heading for the lowest in a long long time. That and the current climate could be a great time to buy in the UK (if you can travel that is).

It will be difficult to travel over I’d say. Half thinking of converting some euro into sterling on Revolut

Was looking at that this morning on revolut.

Haven't used it before. Can you convert now and leave it sit in sterling ?

I bought a Leaf in the UK with revolut a while ago. Transferred in euro, converted to sterling and bought the car. Can’t see any reason why you couldn’t leave the sterling in your account for a while. Thing is, will sterling devalue even more..?

If you are buying with Revolut, let Revolut themselves know of your intention to buy a car in the UK beforehand.

Yes you can buy sterling now, it will be in the stg account on your revolut. No matter what happens going forward you will always have that stg there.

Could see some real bargains over the next few months if some people forced to turn their cars into cash!

I think that might have been the same car that was for sale for a long time with an asking price of €3,500 a few months ago? Mentioned in this thread a few times. I'd say it sold for no more than €3k

But you are right, this can certainly be a bargain if all you need is an EV for short distances. Get it at €3k and you're laughing...

So how come you saw it and then it disappeared immediately? A Tesla Model S for that sort of money with the Sterling rate as is and the Tesla warranty is worth a good few thousand more over here (given there is no VRT on that car)

Opportunity for someone to make some easy money! This is pretty rare in the world of bringing in EVs from the UK. Most second hand EVs are priced even higher over there than they are here, unless you buy at auctions or from the trade directly, etc.

They have taken everything down , so it may not have sold.

They have taken everything down several times over the last few months. Maybe it has nothing to do with them closing business because of COVID-19?

Nice find! Should be very little VRT on that too. Seller is a bit cheeky though:

    "Optional Solid Black Paint"

No, it wasn't optional when you bought it, you chancer :p It was the zero cost option. If you buy one now the zero cost option is the white (multicoat) alright, with solid black an optional extra.

Exactly the type of car/range I'm looking to get in a few months.

    Good deal.

More or less than you paid?

I just got an email alert this morning and when I clicked through the ad, all CPO were gone.
