Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can see this being a really frustrating evening

Might have considering he got a hand to it.

What was Mane(I think) at though, no attempt at closing down the cross.

Annoying as fcuk to see players do that. After all his good work in disrupting their attack, he switches off before the job is finished.

All the top teams have top keepers. You can't carry that ****e.

You need a keeper that is going to win you points not lose them. With a top keeper Liverpool would go very very close.

And that's why Liverpool have no chance of winning the league.

Because they go 1-0 down in 12 minutes?

I'd just go long, it worked a treat against Boro in the second half using Origi as the target man running the channels.

Got full hand to hit, Martin Tyler '' what a good save, o no it's not a save''
    Very poor goal keeping.

I was sure he had it covered too. Near post ffs!

    - Mane didn't get close to stop the cross or make it difficult
    - Lovren was asleep and let Walters get a few yards before reacting
    - Then Mignolet wasn't close enough to his front post to get a strong hand on it

Joe Hart in the summer would be a big upgrade.

No, because they have 2 brutal GKs.

No because they have keepers that will inevitably lose them points. It might not be today but over the season it will keep happening.

Joe Allen started really well. More like the Welsh Iniesta

God I wish Sakho wasn't being phased out.

Yeah how weird was that? He does great tracking back and then with 80% of the job done he decides to walk away.

    Bizarre.

It's awful goal-keeping though. And it's not great with two headers won freely by Stoke as well.

Just poor all round by us.

Ming isn't good enough but it's very early to be saying Karius isn't good enough, new Keeper in a new league, give him time to settle and build his confidence before saying he's useless.

I always believe in giving players a second or third chance, especially when they are talented. A lot going on behind the scenes that we don't know for sure.

Liverpool getting a hiding here so far

    Bit of an exaggeration.

By far the better team till they scored. Look poor now though

Joe Allen having a great game. Always wish him well unless it's against us but he's starting to annoy me now :D
    Fair balls to him.

    Handball?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

2 short corners 2 blocked shots from outside the box.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,404 ✭✭✭✭Vicxas

Just not enough spark in our attack of late :/

He was brought into replac Mignolet then played so bad after his injuries that he was replaced by the player he was replacing who is now back to the kind of errors that got him replaced.

Karius could be good but Mignolet never will be so Im not sure why Klopp took him out of the team but he sees both players each day in training.

Get him off the field. Why is the ref looking at him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Yet again we've conceded from the first shot on target.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 40,061 ✭✭✭✭Harry Palmr

Crouchy very lucky not to have OG'd that block.

He took him out of the team because his confidence was shot. Take him out of the firing line to recover and wait until the time is right to put him back in.

    Half time would be good.

2 big guys up front, a 3rd man breaking from deep and two wing backs finding space out wide to get crosses into the box has rather caused Liverpool fairly serious problems.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,081 ✭✭✭Fromvert

Good game management from Diouf. Team under lots of pressure, get yourself a break anyway you can.
Liverpool could do with a few cuter players.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,611 ✭✭✭✭ERG89

Only Arsenal.....I mean Liverpool could struggle this badly against a team spearheaded by Peter Crouch in 2016

Yet again we've conceded from the first shot on target.

It's amazing that after 2 years of conceding from almost every shot on target (or thats how it feels anyway) it still keeps happening.

Allen is a very tidy player. Head and shoulders above Henderson.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Lovren's been horrendous any time they attack.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,827 ✭✭✭✭Panthro

    Stoke doing rather well

He's a smashing player alright and under-rated. Whatever about that henderson comparison.

Klopp will have his influence at half time.
We are very poor and worried about ''stoke'' ?
    Need to go at them,

Best player on the park by a country mile

Stoke arent bad but they will ship goals at some time.

Liverpool are too good not to score or create a very good chance at some stage.

    Patience is key.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,868 ✭✭✭Andersonisgod

Liverpool a very narrow side out of possession giving Stoke opportunity in the wide areas with the wung backs running from deep and having 3 attackers to link with.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,827 ✭✭✭✭Panthro

Liverpool player shouldn't have stopped there, keep playing until they hear a whistle
