    Hello team,

I'm looking at getting a 4k 55-65" HDR TV, looking at Hisense 55M5500, 55M7000 and maybe the 65M5500.

I see the 55M5500 is on special for in-store @ £549 - but I would need delivery to Dublin.

Also my farther is looking for a new TV, 49" 4k HDR. The Sony Bravia KD49XD8088 caught his eye in another shop. But he is open to suggestions and best deals.

So what are your thoughts on M5500 vs M7000 and what's the best price for the two TV's delivered to Dublin?

    Keen to order both ASAP.

    Many thanks,
    Adam

Change of plan we can collect the TVs today in store.

However I understand the 55M5500 isn't in stock.

    Is the 55M7000?

What's the best price for the Sony and the 55M7000 collected in store today?

Has to be a boards special for two tvs. Pm me if that's easier.

    Many thanks

    T-Bon3,

apologies for the delay getting back to you - we are out of stock locally of the Hisense 55M3300 until Tuesday - we can deliver it direct from our main warehouse as fresh stock has hit the main warehouse and is ready to ship.

Locally we have the Hisense 55M7000 available no problem at £699 and we also have the Sony KD49XD8088 at £659 - unfortunately, even for Boardies I cannot do any further deals as they are both wafer thin margin TV's.

If you are travelling do drop us a line to sales@richersounds.ie so we can reserve them for you to be 200% sure they are there when you land!

Thanks again and keep me posted if we can assist in any way,

    ATVB,

Hi John thanks for that, however it was the 55M5500 I was interested in not the 3300.

How much will it be delivered to Dublin for the 55M5500 when it comes back in stock?

Can you give me a idea of the difference between the 55M5500 and the 55M7000 please? Need to be able to sell the extra cost to the boss here in the house if I was to be able to stretch to it.

    Many thanks.

    T-Bon3,

I don't have a delivered price for the 55M7000 at the moment as I don't have a def ETA on fresh stocks, apologies!

The main difference between the 55M5500 / 55M7000 is that the motion processing is better on the 55M7000 - it is also an edge lit TV local dimming panel - in reality when you see the two side-by-side the 55M7000 is significantly better,

    Hi guys,

Unfortunately I have a problem that I didn't notice at first, depending on the background colour it is harder to see.

There are horizontal purple ish lines going across the bottom of the screen. They are visible on 3 different HDMI inputs, and also the TV's home page. They don't seem to remain constant and are more visible on the bottom right hand side, they don't appear to go all the way across.

I have restored factory settings, unplugged the TV, ensured the wires are all connected securely, tried to update the firmware (it says it's up to date).

You can see a picture I took of the issue here: http://i.imgur.com/AIbBdBV.jpg

I'm very concerned at the moment! Can you please advise?

    Hi T-b0n3.

There really is no need to be concerned, we would never leave a customer with a faulty product.

There does look to be an issue with the panel that is causing the purple lines.

We will have a replacement arrange for and will have the faulty unit collected at the same time.

If you could re-box the faulty one back up with all its accessories please so the driver can take it with him when dropping the replacement.

When over the next few days would suit for this to take place?

Again apologies for any hassle that this may cause.

    Hi Kenny,

    Thanks for that.

I'll be working during the day for the rest of the week but can arrange someone to be here Thursday afternoon if that would work? Or even Saturday if that's an option?

I can certainly re-box the product with all the accessories prior to collection.

If it's easier or quicker I can give you my number to call me today.

    Many thanks,
    Adam

    Hi,

Just a friendly word, please PM Kenny with any personal info like a phone number, don't post it on thread - the world can see it here.

    Thanks,
