    Specs:
    GeForce GTX 700 Series
    Intel Core i3-4150 3.50 GHz
    6 GB DDR3 RAM

    [Alienware X51 R2 Variation]

    Would like to know limitations on a RAM upgrade. As far as I know, the case has only 2 slots for the RAM to go and I'm looking to upgrade to 16 GB. Help?

    If it's for gaming, the GPU should be the first port of call (assuming it's a GTX750/760), CPU second, ram last as 8GB is still pretty OK for 95% of games.

    What sort of budget are you working with?

    From what I can see it'll take 2 x 8GB sticks. God love ya opening that thing up though!
