    Hi,

We are getting married this year and looking at a relaxing getaway the week after the big day.

Currently Dubrovnik is top of the list; seems to be a pretty city to just chill around. Of the Boards.ie folk that have been there is it like that?

Any nice hotel recommendations? Suppose our budget would be up to €250 per room per night or so.

Depends on time of year you go there. July and August can be very busy and just too overcrowded with cruise ships coming in. It can also be very hot - 35+.

If you are going in the shoulder months it would probably be better.

Croatia Tours are a travel agency based in Dublin and would have a lot of experience in doing that kind of stuff.

If you are set on it probably spend 3 nights in Dubrovnik and then spend the rest of the time on one of the islands off it.

Thanks, yeah we will be going end of April/start of may so should be slightly calmer.

We are not set on it (also half thinking Iceland?!) but have earmarked Dubrovnik based on other peoples recommendations for somewhere that would have enough to do to entertain us but have a nice selection of hotels that we could pick a nice one to relax at after the wedding madness!
