Title says it all. What phone would have the best camera and any of the lower end phones have good quality ones?
    Thanks

It's it for photos or video?

Have you a budget in mind?

Does it matter on what operating system?

Ideally, photos but would appreciate a good video as well.
No real price range but would like to know if any cheaper phones can rival the more expensive ones in this market.
Doesn't matter about operating system. Thanks

I've been looking to change recently. I currently have a Sony Xperia and I like the quality of the photos. I was thinking of an Xperia E5, it has a 13MP camera (5MP secondary.) Vodafone most expensive it seems at €159, €129 Meteor or €149 sim free from Littlewoods.

I found the Moto G4 has a ok camera, but takes a little work to get the best out of it.

The Samsungs generally have a good camera.

Moto G4 isn't the best very grainy even in good lighting.

I didn't find that. I did find it wasn't very consistent. You might have to take a few to get one good one, and HDR improved photos a lot especially at night. It often needs help to focus. Its a good bit better than previous moto's.

Might depends what you are comparing it with. I'm comparing it with cheaper phones. The G4 is 179 sim free.

I think Samsung has better cameras though in general. The iPhones take ok photos too.

The Lumia 1020 is a bit to slow now though. It struggles shot to shot times. Image quality though among the best.
