Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd be seriously pissed if Liverpool had a goal disallowed for that.

If that is a high foot, so is every bicycle kick ever.

Maybe Ibra should have kept his mouth shut after he kicked Coleman in the head a few weeks ago. Classy united fans singing about Valdes being a wanker now...what exactly did he do wrong

where did one fan blame valdes???

Yeah but one didn't so that's the view they all hold.

Anyway Ibra certainly gets his foot well out of the way before he gets near Valdes. You can see Valdes is worried about going for it due to the foot but that's no reason to give a free out on its own. I can definitely understand Mason giving it, I think he's wrong, but I get it. It's another thing a quick look at the tape would solve.

Are you watching the game? If you are you'd hear the crowd singing about him being a wanker!!!!!

I can understand it but it's the wrong decision.

Jesus watching the game and the commentator said you'd have to be 2 clear yards offside in the past before and offside was given to United at old Trafford.....where do they get it out of.

Meh, 45 mins to score, and I believe we will.

What's annoying me more is that he hasn't carded Boro for constant fouling. Why not stick the boot out when you have little chance of winning the ball if the ref isn't going to do much more than give a free.

Pretty much my thoughts on it as well. Probably should have been a goal but can see how the ref came to the conclusion it was dangerous as he led with studs.

I suppose on the plus side that Turkish ref wasn't reffing otherwise it would have been a red card to

Having spent 30 plus years hating Utd and convinced(deluded) they always
Get the luck but by god this has changed this year
Between missing chances galore opposing keepers having games of their lives
And some shocking refereeing decisions, Utd are really in a false position
But the bitterness in me says it's karma 😜

You watching on NBC? He had an orgasm when Pogba pinged one across field, saying that shows how good a passer he his, two minutes later and Pogba misplaced a short pass and the commentator says he really needs to work on his passing :D

Another 30 decisions should cancel this one out.

I don't believe that we are in a false position at all, but we have been quite unlucky with ref decisions. But then last week we scored a clearly offside goal and almost got another today, so swings it might be picking up again :p

No insight, no humour, no decent trolling and a horrific attempt at spelling a word that consists of h followed by a repeatedly.

    2/10, at a push.

Both Higginbotham ex Man Utd & Boateng think it was the correct decision to disallow the goal.

I think it should have been a goal as he made no contact with Valdes but you can see why it was disallowed as it was high & studs were showing.

The size of Zatlan doesn't help him either. That happens in the middle of the field and everyone agrees it's a high foot.

True. He should have headed it

In fairness, it's not the worst decision ever, as someone has said earlier.

Harsh but you can see where he's coming from when a player pulls up injured seconds after a high boot.

Surely he would have booked him for the high foot then, saw it and I thought it was a bad decision

  • If you dive towards someones foot to head the ball it's still a free out then? Ffs

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,054 ✭✭✭wanderer100

If Ibra's foot was too high, then that bicycle by Pogba should be too. Wtf

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,017 ✭✭✭sReq | uTeK

So guy dives to head a ball knee high Nd that's also a high foot. Heard it all now

  • Can't believe it's still 0-0

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,709 ✭✭✭✭Cantona's Collars

Howard Webb on BT said goal should have stood. Zlatan had his foot down when Valdes made contact with him.

I said in the first half the goal should have stood.

I think that was a foul by Smalling though as he pulls the Middlesbrough's player to the ground when he's falling himself (or at least that's what it looked like in the replay)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,017 ✭✭✭sReq | uTeK

Fergie would be on the pitch taking the head off the ref.

On a side note Fellani has been excellent.
