Darksiders: Seems to borrow heavily from Zelda but puts its own stamp on things and its a great game. How could you not like a game that features a war between Angels and Demons and lets you play as one of the four Horsemen.

Event[0]: This was quite an interesting game. It revolves around talking to an AI program on an abandoned space station. Bit short though.

Just finished Unravel and regret not sitting down and playing it before, such a pretty game. Took me around 10 hours but would highly recommend it if it drops cheap again

    Another game for my list:

    PC

Oxenfree: 2D puzzle-adventure game. Nice graphics but what set this apart is the story, acting and certain gameplay elements (radios). Liked it a lot but not much replay value I think.
Broforce: Awesome pixel-art homage to the 80s hero movie genre! Finished the campaign solo and have played a few co-op games with randomersin the meantime. Will keep going back to this one!
Batman: Arkham Knight: Really enjoyed it, more Batman goodness in a similar vein to the previous three Arkham games. Looked gorgeous.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Love playing Lego games in co-op with the wife; this was one of the weaker ones I thought but still decent fun. Story was RUBBISH :)

Platinumed Tekken 7 over the weekend. Probably the easiest platinum I've ever gotten bar the Telltale games.

Started and finished Dead Space 2 in a couple of days. Haven't finished a game so quickly in a long time, it's great though. Would highly recommend it.

Finished Knack last night. For ages i've avoided it as most people say it's not a good game. I really enjoyed it. It's a bit simple, and there's not a lot to the combat, but it's an interesting world, and with the announcement of Knack 2 i'm genuinely interested in playing it, just to see if they can improve on a solid platformer.

    Darksiders: Warmastered Edition
    Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition
    Valkyria Chronicles
    Hitman
    Unravel
    Horizon Zero Dawn
    Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix
    Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix

    ADDING:-
Gears of War 2 [Xbox 360 (via Xbox One)] ||
I originally had zero intention of playing through this again...... I just remember turning it on a couple of days ago and playing a chapter for nostalgia's sake (I hadn't played it in about 7 years) and then one chapter led to the next. Played through the whole campaign and just finished it there now.
I imagine if you ever owned a 360 you probably had one of these games and kind-of get it. But for those that have never played it..... It's just hectic shoot'em-up fun. They all are (well, Gears Judgement was okay - if a bit forgettable)

    That was fast

Wasn't even trying for the most part. Only reason I even looked at what trophies were required for the platinum was because I was unlocking a lot of trophies just by playing normally. Felt like I was unlocking one every 2 or 3 fights. It's an incredibly easy platinum to get with only a bit of effort required for about 3 or 4 trophies.

    || Decided to switch over to this one after I finished Gears 2. Personal favourite of the original trilogy and story-wise it just wraps up everything well. I timed my interest in playing it fairly good, as Microsoft just messaged me on XBL telling me that Gears of War 4 is available for a 10-hour trial. I may dive into that then buy it next week, as it's about 23 euro pre-owned in Gamestop. I won't bother with Gears of War Judgement.

Judgement is a fairly good game. If you never played it I would recommend it.

I have. I've played and cleared all of them bar Gears 4 countless times it was just a good few years since I revived interest. I'm skipping Judgment because I just want to get the chronology done.

Got the platinum in Rugby Challenge 3, for the last trophy I spent 12 hours trying to get it, having misread how to get it :o
So ya if something says win 10 games with 10 teams they mean once for each teams not 10 for each team :o:o

  • Been over 10 years but finally completed a replay of GTA San Andreas (x360 version)

Still one of the finest games ever created

Also one of the most frustrating, **** that driving test where you have to flip the car
Oh and that dreadful train mission :/

X360 port is dreadful at times however. It's got a choppy frame rate and sometimes the audio just stops playing during cutscenes

I was playing that on PC a couple of months ago. It worked perfectly with my 1080p screen but stopped when I upgraded to a 1440P screen. I can get it to work if I only run it on 2 cores but just cannot be bothered so I left it.

    What do you mean?
All you had to do was follow the damn train CJ!
I bought the trilogy on PS4 I should get back to it.
Been playing telltales guardians of the galaxy on ps4. I don't know why I bought it. First episode was ok but I didn't like the twist at the end. I'm halfway through episode 2 but I got 2 crashes so gave up for the night.

Just finished Batman Return To Arkham
Now I know its old but it was on the console, I really enjoyed it game wise. I still find Batman a bit boring but it was a good game at around 10 hours
Plus I fulfilled my quest to finish two games before starting(buying) a new one :D

I'm about 50% through Vice City.
I'm finding Game-play wise it doesn't hold up well compared to GTA:SA
The Soundtrack and Story however are still fantastic.
Again some of the missions are rage inducing.

There's a mission for the Porn Studio in VC where you've to go from rooftop to rooftop on a motorbike that I always found way way worse than the train mission in SA.

Finished The Force Unleashed last night. First time playing the game, not sure if I played really long sessions at it or if it's just a short game but I breezed through it.

I have the second one lined up now as well.
