Passed the 1,000 mile mark today, hell of a lot slower than last year. Price of being lazy over the summer!!!

Hit the 1000 mark a week and a half ago, 2 weeks earlier than last year when I hit in during DCM 2016.

I know we're counting miles but this is my first year as a consistent runner and I've just hit the 1,000KM mark, which was my own personal goal for the year. I didn't think I would even manage that so am delighted and will aim high for the 1,000miles next year. Everything from here til Dec 31st is a bonus now! :)

Made it to 1000 miles! Last Friday actually, but forgot about posting it until The Muppet kindly reminded me about this thread.

First time ever for me and I'm delighted.

....and 2000 miles reached on the run into work this morning. funny that I've run more miles than ever before this year despite not running or training for a marathon.

    Year|Miles
    2013|471
    2014|1606
    2015|1654

1000 Miles done today for the 9th year in a row,a pity 26.2 of them in October were at such a pathetic pace :o

Just came across this thread today. Hadn't been tracking the total miles but checked there and at 1100 for the year. Delighted as I was two months off with a broken foot, had no idea I'd that many miles put away.

Snuck over the 2000 mile line for the first time in the middle of a long run two days ago. Mixed bag of a year running wise, some good and some not so good. Onwards.

1531 total for me this year, which is a bit up on previous years where I consistently and co-incidentally kept on doing to within 10 miles of the same number each time. Had a couple of missed months due to illness during the year, so happy with that. More marathons and have even stupidly signed up for an ultra for 2018 so we'l see what happens then...

    Total miles in 2016? 3931.4
    Total miles in 2017? 3931.6
Hoping the extra distance will pay dividends in 2018. :)

Well done to everyone. Some fantastic mileage recorded here.

1,326 miles this year compared to 1,707 in 2016. The drop is all down to different niggles/injuries that kept me sidelined. Here's hoping for a more consistent 2018!

3,691 miles for the year. 400+ more than last year.
Looking forward to the 2018 battle for first to reach 1,000 :D
    Happy New Year, all!

2017 limped to a close with 3 over the last 5 weeks missed.
but happy with 1481.2 miles for the year.

    Happy New year all.

Worth at least 2 seconds (too soon? :pac:)

3,122.8 for me solid finish to the year on the back of a 140 streak, down from 3,359 last year, but I've a different focus for next year.

3062 miles after significantly picking up the mileage over the last few months.

Considering that I had to take it very easy at the start of the year and then took the entire month of July off for recovery I am surprised I got that much running done.

    Can't wait for 2018! :)

My target was 2,500 miles, and was well on track until the mileage tailed off a bit after a dismal DCM. Made a stab at a recovery, but with 21 days to go was looking at 59 miles per week. Managed the first week but then Christmas kicked in with a vengeance.

    2446 in the end.

1450.1 for 2017, up from 1127.26 in 2016. Training for the 50K has caused a good spike in the last two months but I’d like to keep up a higher level of mileage in general than previous years so onwards, longerwards and fasterwards.

    4930.4 km -> 3063 miles
Last couple of weeks have been poor, but a good year overall

    6000km next year?

1501 miles for the year, Happy with that, a little hit and miss the last few weeks but at least the wheels did not come off completely as in previous years.
