Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

i  am watching this game on Optus Australia, Ian Drake the boxing bloke is doing the commentary! What is the corresponding station at home that gave this guy a job commentating on soccer?

Firmino stuck wide left not doing him any favours.

As per Klopp's view, move to the box ........ the starting position in Klopp's team isn't overly constraining.

''His arms are away from body, has to be a penalty ''

I like to keep my arms in my body.

Hit him in the upper arm, hit at him from a yard away........would have been harsh IMO.

Who has the armband since Milner went off?

    Firmino is rubbish again today

This is feeling an awful lot like the first Sunderland game, get the finger out and make some chances

Great counter attack opportunity, Can passes it back to Mannone.

N'Dong has been superb for Sunderland

Was a pen for me anyway.

You need to keep your arms glued to your sides in those positions and he leaned his arm into it.

    They both were. Clearly.

I don't agree on the first one.

Firmino, Lallana, Mane, Wijnaldum very poor, anonymous mostly. Everything going through Clyne or Sturridge for Liverpool and Sturridge is beginning to drop deep and become anonymous.

Lallana hasn't been up to it today. He's looked tired.

    Can't see us scoring.

Borini having a field day against Moreno
Moreno has not done a thing to stop him

May as well just side foot pass the ball to Mannone at this stage. Handy for Fantasy Football teams with him in goal, all easy saves.

We look so lethargic at times

Meh just watched it a few times there, would have been extremely harsh to give a peno for that, in saying that i have seen them been given plenty of times

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

So many passes astray because players aren't even looking, the longer this goes the deeper Sunderland will get.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,798 ✭✭✭✭DrumSteve

    Still think we will win

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,983 ✭✭✭✭NukaCola

Wij has been uncharacteristically wasteful in possession......

    Need Origi on quickly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,740 ✭✭✭✭MD1990

    Surely time for Origi.

Origi should be brought on about now imo.

I'd love to know what Klopp is thinking right now.

Feels like we've learned nothing since the last game against these, exact same situation.

Bad, disjointed game as I feared. Still no excuses for not being able to beat Sunderland.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,466 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

We can't afford to lose it.
Could be a point gained in Chelsea come tomorrow
