Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Genuinely feel a bit bad for West Ham here....

Very unlucky. They havent been terrible today

Excellent, United showing to be one of the form teams in the league.

The referee and his officials have been woeful today. That was not a difficult decision.

    Another offside goal for United.

To be fair, our last offside came when the match was already finished as a competition. Had no impact.

Yup. Poor in Sunderland Liverpool match as well.

I didn't think I'd see a worse refereeing performance than the riding UTD got last game, I was wrong, Mike Dean has gifted us this game.

We may well have won anyway but we can only speculate as to what would've happened had it been refereed correctly.

  • Registered Users Posts: 33,754 ✭✭✭✭RobertKK

At least we got the goal back that we should have got last game, to improve the GD.

Offside goal and a dodgy red card. That has to be enough to stop utd fans talking about the world being against them for a week anyway.

Every United fan here called the incidents correctly. No red and Ibra offside. You are simply trying to stir sh1t once again in a United match thread.

Think they were set up to play well against us, if the first 10 are anything to go by. Dean ruined the game. Whatever about the offside, we would most likely have won anyway, the red card was disgraceful.

Ah I know that. You had one wrongly ruled out the other day as well.

Bilic will be back on the woodbines after this. Amateur level match officiating today.

  • Mike Dean defined the first half
    Jose defined the second

    Great subs and tactical tweaks

Both Utd and West Ham had decisions go against them but you got to do what you got to do to get the result regardless of a **** ref

No Zerks! He's just here to discuss everything honestly and earnestly. He told us so last week. And the week before.....

Apparently refs had a shocker in the City-Burnley game as well.

    Not just this game.
Oficiating in the Premier League is not good enough. They are suppose to be profesionals.

Tbf the really big calls that mattered hurt them a lot more.

Much easier to do what you have to do when your up against 10 men and getting offside goals though?

I see I'm still the only one who agreed with the red card! He left the ground in his effort to tackle, you can't do that anymore.

Yes but it's been constant narrative from utd fans that refs have constantly ****ed them over this season.

Are you (with a straight face) seriously trying to make out that the officials made equally poor decisions against both sides today? Seriously?

Every era has it's gripes with refereeing. But this current mob are the worst I can remember in nearly 50 years of watching football.

No, it was 100% not a red card, that is why most think it wasn't a red card. Simple!

West Ham away used to be an intimidating atmosphere.

Cannot belive how dead the new stadium is.

Your right, we should be up against 9

Ander stammped on, have you seen the stud mark on his face?

Miki was almost blown into the championship with a leg breaker.

There was other tackles that deserved yellows and didn't get them

but don't let that get in the way of a good story...

Not at all, but what did they cost United today?

If you mean all season, certainly, nearly every team has had terrible decisions go against them, some possibly more than others.

Seems to be that 50% of games over the Christmas period have had bad calls that have affected games. Hell every game I've watched today the ref has dropped a clanger.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,249 ✭✭✭limnam

No yellow for reid deliberate handball preventing a goal scoring opportunity

    nuts..

He did! Not the red card; that was brainless from Dinho. But the amount of wrong calls he made is frightening.

What pisses me off the most is that there is zero accountability.

In any other job if people tell you you're **** at it there's actions taken because they might have a point. In football they get fined.

    And I never argued that
I have said its another case of refs having a shocker since the sending off

But seems to blinkers on with certain decisions that didn't go Utds way either

For one miki could have broke his leg with tackle that didn't even get carded
