I think this needs to be posted here as last time we ran this event, there was nobody from Athlone itself there :)
Here's a short clip from last year's event at the Prince of Wales, Athlone: https://www.instagram.com/p/BH9fjD7jDQI/
This year, David Pleasance himself (former CEO of Commodore UK) and Trevor Dickenson (A-Eon, todays makers of Amiga hardware and software) are among some great names on the guest list, not to mention Ravi Abbot from the Retro Hour Podcast!
This is not a money making thing (if we make money, it'll just go into the next event), but aims to get lovers old and new of Commodore / Amiga together once a year to have some fun and learn about new developments. You will likely leave with a prize and last year that meant people left with their old Amiga's being wifi-enabled - much to their surprised I'd imagine :)
This year we have an amazing guest list and I hope anyone interested will come and support the event and their efforts (people flying from Germany, UK, Poland, New Zealand and possibly USA).
Full details (transport options, guest list, events/workshops, products/demos etc) are here, please spread the word if you know anyone that might be into this: https://www.reddit.com/r/ireland/comments/5lecui/commodore_amiga_annual_retro_summit_2017_jan_21st/

What kind of setup would you like? 2 votes

I still have my Amiga! I'd like some desk space to set up and get advice/repairs.

I still have my equipment but I might need a monitor etc, I'll get in touch.

I won't be bringing equipment, but I'd like to join in with the gaming, events and meet the guests.
