Hello, who is responsible for the land underneath low voltage power lines - i.e ensuring it does not get overgrown for access/maintenance etc - is it ESB or the landowner?

    Thanks.

I would say the landowner is responsible as its his/her land.

The exception being that ESB networks will do any timber cutting under or around the lines that is needed.

    Hi schmittel,

    Thanks for your message.

ESB Networks are the people to speak to regarding this query.

They are not on Boards.ie but they are on Twitter or can be telephoned on 1850 372 757.

Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.

    Best regards,
