Happy new year all, a good mate has a birthday coming up & a few of us are chipping in to get him something special. Is there anywhere in Ireland that does aftermarket Harley parts? eg handlebars, etc. I don't want to deal with any of the dealerships as he's had nothing but bad experiences with them & I've never heard anyone who dealt with them who would recommend them. I'd hope not to have to source any items from abroad as I imagine the cost would be prohibitive. Many thanks in advance.

...what do you mean 'any' of the dealerships - Harley dealerships, or ones in general ?

There are only 2 dealers in RoI you know............

And I know you mean well, but I wouldn't be buying handlebars without trying them: a voucher for whichever shop you pick would be best imho. Then he get anything from a part to a helmet or whatever.

www.motorbikeshop.ie seems to be good, based in Cork.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Thanks lads. I was reluctant to deal with the harley dealership (at least in Dublin) as their prices & customer service are legendary. I will probably go the voucher route as that hadn't occurred to me. One4all it is 😎

...this very forum has seen some stories about the Dublin shop alright, and I've one or two myself, but I've only actually dealt with, seldomly I admit, the original H-D shop in Ireland, Waterford H-D.
