Anywhere decent for a drive and to chill in D15 or near enough in the evenings?

Normally if herself is in mine, we'll drive 20 mins down to Sandymount after dinner on a Sunday, if we're out in hers (Huntstown) it's normally at the airport or during the summer when it's bright and warm - Phoenix Park.

Used to be a lovely road before the bloody ramps were put in!

That because people were going crazy on it.

If you go as far as the airport, you're nearly at the coast. For somewhere closer you could head to Tara or out to Trim.

Was actually gonna suggets Trim. The castle is a nice spot for a stroll in the evenings as well, though maybe moreso in summer or late spring when there's a bit more daylight in the evening.

A bit closer to home is St. Catherine's Park which is nice, it has a forest walk which ends by walking alongside the Liffey. But that's assuming that you are looking for a destination rather than somewhere to drive to and back without getting out of the car (understandable in the winter!)

Also Celbridge for Castletown House or Maynooth for a stroll round the college if you're looking for a no cost, nice place for a walk.

Drive to Navan is nice, quick and you can stop at the cafe at the hill of Tara.

Before it had the facilities it has now, you'd only ever find people walking dogs. They can claim to be there first.

I dunno about that. Used it a lot before they did it up. Definitely a problem with dogs now. But that's true of everywhere. They really need to enforce the littering fines.

Is it the dogs themselves or the dog byproduct that's the problem?
