Good quality headphones under €100

Hi all,

I'm hoping to get a good pair of headphones for €80/90 max. I'm not at an audiophile at all so anything above average and I'll be happy. I think the most I've spent on earphones in the past was about €35 and always the small in ear type, never headphones so I'll likely notice a huge difference with a decent set in the €60 - 80 price range.

Noise cancelling/isolation is one of my major needs after sound quality. I was set on getting a pair of active noise cancelling earphones as I see there's quite a few under the €100 price point now but have read conflicting things about how good it is versus passive noise isolation so I'm slightly lost. Ideally I'd also like if they were bluetooth enabled with the option of wired also but that's not a deal breaker, I'm just conscious that phones are beginning to drop the headphone port and would be slightly concerned that this will eventually be the norm.

My main use case would be commuting on bus/dart/luas and for flights (hence the desire for noise cancellation!) and at the moment mostly for music and I'd use them for video but my current pair you can hear all the ambient noise even at full volume! I rarely use earphones at home.

Any recommendations would be great, thanks!

I have these (Jabra Revos) - they're currently £120, which is outside your budget, however I managed to pick them up for around £70 a year ago when Amazon dropped the price....Highly recommend - very durable (build quality is superb), charge lasts upwards on 12 hours, very comfortable and excellent sound quality.

I just did a quick search there on Amazon and spotted these Psyc Wave X1s which seem to be getting a lot of positive reviews. I don't have a set myself, so can't personally recommend or comment on quality. They're currently the #1 selling Dj Headphones on Amazon :pac:

Philips Bluetooth Noise Cancelling

I was looking at these myself before but went with a (more expensive) pair. Tried them in Harvey Norman (They don't have them anymore) and they were excellent.
