    Fancy Noppert to win, he's looked so cool under pressure all tournament and has played well throughout.

    very strange start time

    why not 8 tonight?
    liverpool united on same time aswell as normal sunday stuff

    I think he's going to give PDC Q school a try. It seems to be a bit of on open secret.

    If I were him I don't know what I'd do really. He has a decent day job in real estate and is making a nice side living being the top dog on the BDO circuit. Plus he's 46 and has a family. Maybe the more sensible option would be to stay put.

    Does anyone know actually if the winner is offered a PDC card?

    I remember years back the beaten semi finalists and finalists were all offered one but I'm fairly sure this is not the case any longer.

    There is supposed to be something in the BDO contract that you are supposed to defend the title if you win it which bunting broke to go over to the PDC

    He still got his £100,000. That contract wouldn't hold up in court and the BDO know it.

    Channel 4 want it put to bed before they show their films tonight. Not like BBC which has more than one channel option if the darts overruns

    Channel 4 has more 4, e4 and 4seven if it really wanted to use them.

    Enjoying this final more than I expected, some of the earlier matches in the tournament were a bit of a bore. Scoring has been good although finishing very poor at times, still well worth the watch and I like that there's a bit more emphasis on darts than just on a massive piss up, which the PDC often seems to be.

    Deserved win, best player in the tournament and was in a few of the best matches.
    Noppert ran out of stream, stopped scoring and missed important doubles.
