What's the score in the Adams game now lads? In work at the moment.

Adams wheels fallen off, he's 4 3 down now. Can't hit the doubles.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Unlucky Adams, seemed to run out of steam. Well played Hughes.

What the hell is Mason wearing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,286 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

Pity Adams couldn't get the win.

Two close games this afternoon though.

    Tonight could be similar.

Really enjoying the competition so far, pity the women's games have only been best of 3. Could have seen some quality darts if the matches were longer format.
But the mens comp has been brilliant so far. Averages might not be as high as the Pdc but averages mean nothing when compared to entertainment values!
And the youth final was class as well. Think we have a new star in the making!

I'm kind of glad Anastasia is out because we won't have the camera panning to her annoying husband. So annoying watching him.

Hammond doesn't have a darts board in her home. I find that amazing.

Tony O'Shea was another famous player who didn't keep a board at home for years. As soon as he got one in a few years back his form started dipping. Weird isn't it?

Jackpot looking slim tonight, bit older though.

Scott Waites head looks like a painted egg.

Will the semis and final be shown on channel 4?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,286 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

Waites can't hit a double to save his life.

    Had plenty of chances here.

I miss Tony Green. Has he retired to the knackers yard?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,286 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

    That single 9 was shocking.

Two time world champion can't be making mistakes like that.

Class 144 to save his title.

Let's see if Noppert can hold it together after that.

That was a clinical last set from Noppert.

    Boo, Nopperts face annoys me.

    Hope Durrant beats him next.

Waites missed chances early doors cost him.

Showed great bottle when Scott came back. Duzza needs to up his game to beat Danny. He is class and can't see him staying in bdo too long.

Crap Noppert is playing Fitton next.

    Should beat him.

Sorry you're right think both of them will make the final though.

Yeah he looked more dangerous throughout really. First dart was in the treble a lot and some nice finishes.

Still rather be on Durrant in the final but could be a great match if they both get there.

Well Duzza should win, but he seems to be putting a lot of pressure on himself.

    Big time.

In his post match interviews it sounds like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Really seems to be trying too hard at the moment.

I hope Duzza wins it in fairness.

Seems like a genuinely nice guy. Very dignified and gracious and has been to his credit the best player on the BDO circuit for the past two years.

Noppert was impressive. Loved the 156 by Waites though to keep the match going. Can definitely win it especially if he cuts out the stay 1s and goes down to 19s sooner.

Fitton is a perennial bottler. He has crawled to the semis. I can't see Noppert going easy on him. Could easily be 6-0 or 6-1

Think it will be 6-2 to Noppert and 6-3 in the other semi to Durrant. I like Darryl but ya Noppert way to strong mentally. He really has impressed me and the PDC is calling.

I saw Noppert play very well against Barney in the Grand Slam and fancied him to do well. Should be too clinical for Fitton but could still be a good match. Durrant looks very uneasy in his games. Seems very nervous and he could struggle in his semi if he fails to settle. Watching his interviews he's very honest and articulate and comes a across as a decent fella and himself and Noppert in the final would be an interesting match up.

Ashton home and hosed. She's head and shoulders above the rest of the women, most years

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,741 ✭✭✭✭Ally Dick

Hammond would be a cracker if she lost a couple of stone...as for Ashton, well......

Ya just thinking that myself, she has a pretty face. I'd say Lisa lancashire rose has been around the block a few times looks a lot older than she actually is.

Loving this match give it ten minutes and it could all change again.

Fitton hanging in there and though he's done well to pull level I think Noppert will pull away and probably win 6-3.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,321 ✭✭✭alan partridge aha

The Dazzler is surprising me, playing solid still fancy Noppert though.
