Watched a bit of this today, it is entertaining in it's own way.
Game i saw most of was Harms the dutch no 9 seed against some Polish guy.
The commentators seemed sure that Harms would win from the off. So many missed doubles on deciding legs & 2 of them to decide sets made it great viewing. Averages were terrible, but it was exciting to watch although the crowd seemed dead.

Haven't seen him in years. No harm, he's painful to watch.
    I just saw he's 47. Looks more like 77!

the standard is pretty bad in general and the presentation is poor but yet you can't argue with the players it has supplied to the PDC

Good win, got his revenge on Smith for getting dumped out last year.
Smith struggled in the 3 games he was in.

Indeed. I only heard during the match that he's currently fighting prostate cancer.

Finished his radiotherapy in November. Said he was hardly playing at all but
looks in good form. Prostate aside he's 60 years old and still playing very good darts.

not his big fan but fair play to him

    On the Wolfie.

If he wins number 4 at 60 years old while battling cancer he's the best player of all time.

Delighted Geert won today, 1st time passed the 2nd round. If he can get his doubles in tune he should go to the semis defo.

Wolfie played solid and silenced the Silencer. Has a nice throw and would like to see him go well.

Commentator there "he's 10 out of 52 on the doubles that's 32 missed doubles". His maths are worse than fitton's finishing.

    Easily.

That Mickey Ven Ger-one guy couldn't even win the BDO because it's proper darts.

    Please stop talking bollocks.

Adams doesn't have one genuine World Championship title.

Adams was invited to the PDC but didn't have the bottle to play with the big boys

Pretty clear you don't understand darts.

Adams has won 3 where MVG and Ando failed miserably.

He made his Grand Slam debut in 2015 and was undefeated in the group stages like a boss.

He actually got to the world matchplay semis in around 2000 so he was definitely a quality player but he hasn't one proper world championship win.All his wins came after Van Barneveld left which was pretty much the tipping point when the BDO went from a decent tournament (but not as good as the PDC) to the complete ****fest which it is today.Good player but needed the big boys to leave before he could actually win the world championship so his don't really count.

You're believing the sky hype mate innit.

Why did Anderson get knocked out in the first round every year if it's so easy.

In all fairness to the Wolfman, technically it's the PDC championship which is not recognised by the sports world governing body the WDF.

****ing Jim Proudfoot giving away the results of the afternoon session. I have it recorded and was going to watch it after the evening session.

I was doing well muting any mention during the analysis but then out of nowhere Proudfoot blurts it out during the Yozza game.

    PDC bound?

Good luck getting that cheque Duzza. :D
