Jesus Christ..46 left - First dart hits single 8. Then goes for a drink of water before missing 2 darts at the double.

I've found the women's standard to be very poor so far this year. It disappoints me because I remember them being better than what they're showing.

Lisa Ashton really needs to be winning it. She could genuinely play with the some of the higher ranked BDO men and take legs off them. I've watched her play a lot on the BDO streams the last couple of years. She has a certain consistency to her game that most women players lack.

Looked like it was going to be 4-0 and all over in half an hour.

I'm looking forward to Noppert and Veenstra. It should be a decent game.

    Noppert very impressive

Noppert will hopefully meet durrant and school him, if the Lithuanian can improve his finishing he has a good chance against Durrant

Waites 7/4 to beat Noppert tomorrow.

Being a bit written off, he won't give up his title easily.

Don't rate Hughes too highly, sloppy enough on the dopubles when the going get's tough,i think adams experience should see him through to the semi's

Wow, some darts from Adams in the first two sets against Hughes. Hasn't missed a double.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

Both averaging 97 after 4 sets. Pretty darn good.

Adams is pure class, his finishing is incredible. Would love to see him win it.

Remarkable to think he is 60.

What the hell is Mason wearing?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,276 ✭✭✭✭mdwexford

Pity Adams couldn't get the win.

Two close games this afternoon though.

    Tonight could be similar.

Really enjoying the competition so far, pity the women's games have only been best of 3. Could have seen some quality darts if the matches were longer format.
But the mens comp has been brilliant so far. Averages might not be as high as the Pdc but averages mean nothing when compared to entertainment values!
And the youth final was class as well. Think we have a new star in the making!

I'm kind of glad Anastasia is out because we won't have the camera panning to her annoying husband. So annoying watching him.

Hammond doesn't have a darts board in her home. I find that amazing.

Tony O'Shea was another famous player who didn't keep a board at home for years. As soon as he got one in a few years back his form started dipping. Weird isn't it?
