Can't understand why Tommy doesn't push back on some of his points. This young fella seems obsessed with race.

Because Tommy is a member of the artistic community and they operate on a much higher level than the rest of us!

Found it quite interesting to be honest. The conversation was uncomfortable but I thought the lad was very articulate and a lot of what he said is stuff I’ve personally seen or heard of.

You can see from his sigh of relief at the end how stressed he was doing the interview. Had no problem with him, you have to listen, to understand another persons mind.

It’s a terrible place we have here with all this free housing, schooling and college education. Awful people these tax payers.

That’s not what he said at all. We’ve a great country here but there is a racist element in our society.

Exactly. The hard uncomfortable truths of racism in all aspects of Irish society need to be discussed openly as much as possible. Fair play to him.

Good to see Tommy getting a stern rebuke to his ridiculous comment that it's good to see black vs whites games in the school yard.
Gives an unintentional insight into the doublethink that goes by those in the media.

Well the young lad had the ride of his life, while living in Donegal anyway.

He is close to being a Professor, I think getting that far at 29 is impressive.

    A Professor of what?

    Did Tommy get told off?

He tried to claim he didn't ask the "Yeah but where are you really from", when he actually did.

The fella pointed it out to him that he did wrong..

I don't think he was referring to Tommy, I think he just meant in general when people ask him that.

Thought you have to have to be a post doc to get such a position.
