Thought you have to have to be a post doc to get such a position.

He's an assistant professor, not associate.

Can't understand why Tommy doesn't push back on some of his points. This young fella seems obsessed with race.

Surprised he didn't take the knee before he spoke

Come at me everyone but I love David Norris.

So eloquent and educated it makes a change from the stuttering and mispronunciation that a lot of our elected officials suffer from.

    This rap though....

White guilt? Take two paracetamol and purchase two copies of Ebun Joseph's self published masterpiece and you should begin to feel better.

Armageddon is on ITV4, a proper global crisis compared to this Covid thing.

I actually enjoyed the overall show as a whole. A great mix overall of humour with some deep & topical issues. An eclectic mix overall.

Much better than the misery guts show that's the same template every week on a Friday night. Not afraid to try different things either like this rap at the end. At least they are trying different things as opposed to the same ol same ol every week.

I didnt know we had so many rappers in Ireland.

Anyone who watches this brilliant show would know that Tierney is not out to dissuade interviewees of their opinions. That is not the goal and it's why it is so watchable week on week. Don't like the guest, don't expect Tommy to do your bidding.

Good show tonight especially first and last guests .. chap in middle seems to have a chip on his shoulder and the world is against him ... I know I will never be in his shoes when I might feel everyone is pushing against you.
Brenda was fantastic and would have listened to her for full show .. came out all downcast looking but came to life in the stores she told .. it’s a real shame she didn’t do more work in later years .. good also to have a open discussion on depression and not be tiptoeing around the subject...
David Norris cloud have been given more time but his interview was nothing I haven’t heard him chat about before.

I’ve been observing the Irish rap “scene” since the early 90s. It’s pretty crap. Always has been

Have you heard of "this side up"?

    Fairly decent group.

How about the 80's scene, lol...

I’ve been trying to find out who the girl in ads for this show is. Tommy says “and you are....” and she replies “a woman”. Anyone know who she is? Sorry for the strange question!

    Roisin Murphy (singer)

For the short bit I saw, I'm coming to the conclusion that all black men in Ireland are angry, would I be right.
