I think the opposite. Enjoying this more than I thought I would. Again, Tommy drawing him out more than most would be able to. There's a lot beneath the surface here.

I'm finding it very enjoyable too. As you say, took a couple of pokes from Tommy to get it going but it's very interesting.

Going to be a lot of problems with addiction post Covid. A lot getting through with alcohol, benzos etc.

Not meant to be a criticism but Stephen Rae seems very melancholic.

Even food, people have piled on the weight. There are some people who have actually turned around their lifestyle during Covid, most have gone the other way though.

He was in Avenger Endgame? Who did he play? I do not remember him in it.

Just as an aside, I am fascinated by very creative people as I haven't a creative bone in my body but there seems to be a very deep tortured side to a lot of them.

It seems they hold themselves to a very high standard & think deeper than others & never recognise their brilliance the way others do.

I actually look forward to and enjoy this show.
Imagine that for an RTE chat show format at the weekend!

What would you expect to hear? I watched a doc he did years ago travelling the country doing his gigs wasn’t a laugh a minute but then again most will tell you that off stage. He’s a good listener and I think that’s he’s best trait for his role.

Tommy could say/ask anything. Here’s a sample from our WhatsApp chat during Rea interview:
I’m more threatened by your hair than your scarf.
    Are you a sad man?
What kind of women do you like?

Gerry Ryan interviewed him that one time he did the Late Late.. but it was a different setting, more madness. It's on youtube i'm sure.

When Covid is over I'd highly recommend to anyone to have a trip to the courts to observe how justice is served, very interesting. Most cases you can just walk in as a member of the public to observe.
