He looks like perfect son in law material.

He has a job though. At least he's not a parasite

Brian Darcys face and handshake at the end of the interview speaks volumes for the type of interview TT facilitates. Tommy knows when to ask a question and when to allow silence to sit there. Thumbs up.

It was an incredible interview. Two very ‘human’ and spiritual sorts together.

The second interview is akin to getting the inside seat on a bus and being trapped in a conversation that you don't know how it began or where it's going.

Tommy Tiernan is phenominal. He actually listens and engages with every guest.

Its brilliant TV. People recognise hes putting himself out there with them and open up.

Tuning in. Anything's better than that love island crap.

Ah Tommy. Leave the misery slot out of it.

Well that took an unexpected turn. An interesting character and I loved the D'Unbelievables.

But you can see Tommy's admiration for him at the end there.

Genuine question...does Tommy genuinely not know the guests?

Apparently not. It is very evident sometimes.

Not to suggest for one second that RTE look after their own :pac:

I've completely zoned out while she's talking, now I've no idea what she is talking about

Everything on earth came from the same source as our DNA has similarities.
    Ergo there is a God.

    I think she's awesome.

She wasn't great. Tommy had to work hard to get her to her comfort zone.

I liked her, she was interesting. Intellectuall but very easy going and up for the laugh with Tommy. Came across as really into work.

    Agree totally.

I always loved Jon Kenny (the good half 3/4 of the Unbelievables), good interview with Mark and Simone, good music. Loved the show tonight. :)

Genuine question...does Tommy genuinely not know the guests?

Good question. I'd genuinely like to believe he doesn't.

But he always ends an interview by thanking the interviewee by name. Sometimes their names are slightly obscure, and he gets the name spot on.

    That makes me suspicious.

The teleprompter doesn't do diction though, or does it ?

It's not uncommon for prompter scripts to have complicated names written phonetically.
