You get the impression guests actually like coming on Tommy's show.

Tommy just happened to be thinking about what Pádraig said on radio on the day this interview was recorded.Yeah.

I love the show but it should be cancelled immediately for that suit.

People really need to let that one go and just watch the interviews for what they are.

Can Tommy make a Padraig interview interesting?

(Nothin but live for Padraig, by the way).

Yeah OD. He was never one for the recorded shows. :D

He is so right about failing. If you don't fail you can be good but never great.Take some of the great sports people of the world and business men and women. Many of them failed before the succeded and became great. Micheal Schumacher, Lewis Hamilton, Katie Tailler, Richard Branson and many more.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

    It is an excellent interview.

Tommy is so far ahead of Ryan on the Late Late in terms of his interviewing style.

Ryder Cup Captain. Is there an easier, more glorified role in the sporting world. Pick your favourite golfers (er maybe one wild card?), and if they win you become a legend and carried away on shoulders to a swimming pool of free drink

Maybe it's the same with Tommy, he has found what he is great at

He really is excellent. Tubridy has the contacts though

Tommy was a brilliant comedian. But he’s getting older now. Couldn’t keep it going forever.

I've a lot of respect for sportspeople who don't quit as soon as they pass their 'peak', choosing instead to carry on because they love what they're doing.

Just wondering if the concept of the show would work in the UK.....either BBC2 or Channel 4.

Richard Whiteley from off of Countdown presented a similar show in the late '90s - Richard Whiteley Unbriefed, I think it was called.

I'd like to see Tommy interview Francis Brennan.

You'd never think she was on the game in fairness

I only caught the tail-end of the interview. Wouldn't and don't ever watch this show, only stayed on because it was Padraig. Found Tommy to bit of a d1ck. I've nothing against him, he's very funny, but felt he was disrespectful.

As with most sports at the top level, there’s a lot more to it than that.

    It is an excellent interview.

I don’t know. I heard Harrington do the paper review on Off the Ball 2 years ago with Paul Kimmage. It was absolutely brilliant radio. The chap has amazing insights into success, failure, and the slightly heady world of professional sport.

Paddy might be slightly autistic. Thought Tiernan’s ‘develop a personality’ thing showed a lack of awareness of behalf of the interviewer. I like the show, but this narrative that Tiernan has some magical insight to the human condition is silly.
