Maybe because they have never been to Cork?

Yeah Fred Cooke has been Tommys warm up act for many stand up shows before, they're good mates. Fred Cooke is to Tommy Tiernan what Ed Byrne is to Dara o'Briain, two friends through comedy with one riding on the coat tails of the other.

I've seen Fred do stand-up a good few times. He's a very funny comedian - if you like slightly mad and shambolic comedy. Which I do. He makes people laugh. Fair dues to him.

Think Cooke is from Navan as well.

    Cheers. I didn't know that.

Another great show and a lovely piece of music at the end.

This is what Friday nights should be.

I get the feeling hes implying this should be on a Friday instead of Ryan Turbridy and the LLS

Just watching the Pádraig Harrington interview on plus one.

The guy is great. Ireland's best sportsman arguably and he gets a lot of flak.

    Interesting interview.

The face of Padraig when Tommy was asking some of the questions was gas.... kind of 'what's he on about?' 'never been asked that' head on him.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

    Very strange question from Tommy
"What do you think love is"
    Wtf.

    Baby don't hurt me.

I wish he Haddaway to answer that question.

That will conclude my comments on The Tommy Tiernan show for this week..

Roddy can be a bit of a prickly fecker, couldn't warm to him.

My least favourite interview of the entire series to be honest. Doesn't come across as very likeable at all.

    Interesting interview.

I'm not a big golf or sports fan but I think Padraig is a class act. Undoubtedly one of Irelands greatest sportsmen and comes across as a gentleman. He's always very honest and upfront.

I was really impressed when he was talking to Tommy about backing yourself. Its something you have to work at. You might be a C student - if you don't work hard you might drop to a D but if you do work hard you will reach a B. As someone who only ever got an A once in a long time studying, I know exactly what he's talking about.

I didn't see that interview yet but that last back and forth bit in the clip was gas.

It sums up the country v Dublin thing though. Dubs are far more direct, people from the country throw in plenty of might's and maybes to take the harm out of it.

    I might and I mightn't etc.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Next to impossible when no one is on it to promote a book, film or tv series. When Michael D came out the other week I was like WTF?! Didnt see that coming at all.

Alrighty then, let's play a game. It's called guess who's on The Tommy Tiernan Show tonight.

I'll go with Gerry Adams, the Stephanie Pressnier lady and...ooh...Pat Spillane.

God, it'd be amazing if I was right.
