I ordered a parcel from Amazon with a delivery date of 8/3/24 at time of dispatch.

Puzzingly enough, on 15/2/24 last, I browsed my orders on Amazon, beside this item it said "Delivered today" ( It wasn't).

I have now requested a refund for the item which has been granted.

    My question is :

    Could my parcel still arrive?

Surely could. Their delivery date has not been exceeded.

while packages are literally flying in from China at the minute, I've also noticed that fastway are delivering some of postnl stuff, which leads me to a missing package. On Thursday 2 items showing out for delivery, cainio and postnl tracking number for both of them.

fastway fella drops off a package but no sign of the second one, check the tracking and Both show delivered at the same time.

I get on to fastway with both the tracking numbers and they say they don't know anything about it, neither shows on their system. I noticed on the package that did deliver it has 1 of the reference numbers that shows as cainio tracking, and then a fastway specific number.

so fastway take in the package, assign a new label and tracking number to it, but according to customer service they cant check it off the reference number, only a fastway tracking number, which the seller doesn't have as they sent via cainio/postnl. Anyone else had a similar problem or any ideas?

It's postnl, who generated the final label in fastway's system, so it checks out that fastway couldn't track the packages's previous history. But both postnl and fastway are awful companies, so they're a perfect business match.

I was expecting a package from Ali Express through PostNL and got it on time by Fastway. It was a different shape to normal and on opening it discovered it wasn't the product I ordered.

I could make out the address underneath the PostNL sticker and travelled 30 minutes there in the hopes that we could exchange packages. Unfortunately, we couldn't, although I gave him the package I got. The address under the PostNL sticker on his package was Lisbon, Portugal.

Not for the first time, PostNL f***ed up.

When did that happen? I had the same problem at the beginning of March.

    27th May. Two days ago.

Did you get any satisfaction at all?

Stuff from China often never arrives or if it does it is so long after that it isn't needed anymore.

I did not. Explained everything in detail with photos of all labels. Fastway: We have delivered your parcel. You need to contact the store. Aliexpress: No refund. Our records show your parcel has been delivered. Paypal. No buyer insurance refund. The tracking shows the parcel has been delivered to you. I will never use Paypal again BTW, what an utterly useless service it's become now. CS in India, take ages to respond with template replies with no reference whatsoever to the evidence provided. It's beyond me why they would not just use ChatGPT now.

Also, according to Ali, my parcel was to be delivered by Anpost, but PostNL cowboys have relabeled it for Fastway and stuck the new label on a wrong parcel.

I'm shocked to hear that they are still doing the same thing two months later, but good to know, as I was just about to order more things from Ali. I'd rather pay more somewhere else and get the things that I ordered.

I've sent gifts to Netherlands which got mislaid by postnl, no note to say there was no one at home. Parcel sometimes left in neighbours which is common, but no note, or back to a depot, but which one? Birthday cards for kids with a few € inside vanish. Now I use local click and collect (Smyths toystore have branches) and revolut a few quid, but it's a shame a child can't safely receive a card with a €20 note inside. I reckon they detect the metal strip, empty cards arrive OK

You must be very unlucky. Can't remember the last time I didn't receive a parcel.

I ordered from Grandado for the first time, about €23 worth. I paid the €2 for tracking. Order acknowledged, but tracking never updated to 'departed depot' even, so after two weeks I queried and only then they replied that they were unable to supply the goods, whose value they stated at €18. They offered me a credit note refund of €30, I declined and just said refund the full payment. I could easily get it reversed by Revolut anyway. They complied anyway, with a good few days delay. First and last time, tax supposed to be paid as part of one stop shop, but what happens if you get a vat demand? Too dodgy.
