NCT rust question

    Bit of a stupid question maybe but I'm driven demented here!

    Have one fail on the NCT for a 2001 micra, described as:

    Secondary Structure Corrosion - Doors - NearsideFront, Foremost, Inner

    Now, I've spent a good hour looking in and around the inside and outside of the front passenger door for any sign of what the tester described as a "rust spot/hole" but I can't see anything at all. First of all am I looking in the right place or should I extend my search to the chassis beneath the door area? Or has he just made a mistake?

    :confused::confused::confused:

    I can supply pictures tomorrow if anyone's that interested but for now any input would be welcomed.

    dont think they make such mistakes just for sake of it,most likely on the body under the car -jack it up then take some pics,either-way would need to be patched up,but not a very expensive fix if not spread wide 100e at good indie garage.

    Old style Micras (K11) do rust so it's probably in there somewhere.
    As said, you may have to check underneath.
    Ask a mechanic to check as they will have a lift.
