My brother is looking to buy two TVs for a new house. He's got a bit of OCD I'd say because he's insisting that they are the same model in the two sizes :)

Need to be smart and they're both going to be wall mounted.

Budget approx €1500 for both but he might go a bit higher for a decently specced tv.

    Hi Ashdale,

thanks for the post and long time no hear! Hope you are well..

I'm guessing that 42" could mean 40-43" as 42" is pretty much gone as a screen size now with some manufacturers going to 40" and others going to 43"...

Here are a couple of options:

    Panasonic
    TX40DX600 - £419 / €499
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-201943-viera-tx40dx600b.aspx

    TX55DX600 - £649 / €839
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-201922-tx55dx600b.aspx

The DX600 series is a super entry level 4K Ultra HD and if the bro' is OCD then the usual Panasonic build quality will please him :)

The total on the Panasonic combo is €1338 and that includes delivery and our 6 year TV warranty.

If you add in 2 decent wall brackets ( we really only stock Sanus brackets now which are really good quality and super slim) then you add the Sanus VML5 and VLL5 - these are £108.99 for the two but we are doing them at €88.97 in Euro - as a complete package this comes to £1177 / €1426 and we could do you a bundle at €1399..

Thanks again and keep me posted if we can assist,

    ATVB,

    Hi John,

Thanks for the reply. Are those brackets fixed or are they tilt and turn? He'll need tilt and turn. There's no problem if you can't supply the brackets as he'll just get them locally.

    Hey Ashdale5.

The two brackets above are fixed.

We do stock these which might suit?

Sanus MF215 priced at £64.95 (will hold the 40") - I could do at £50.00
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv-brackets/sanus/mf215/sanu-mf215

Sanus VLF311 priced at £129.95 (Will hold the 55") - I could do at £95.00
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/tv-brackets/sanus/mf215/sanu-mf215

Let me know if these would suit.

Hi lads. Apologies for delay on this but I think we're finally ready to get going on these.

Are the suggestions above the best options still or has there been any change in models/price?

    Hey Ashdale5.

The options above would still be the best, however pricing has oncreased a t little from then.

    40DX600 is now £449.00 or 519.00 Euro
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-201943-viera-tx40dx600b.aspx?swapstore=1

The 55DX600 now priced at £679.00 or 849.00 Euro
    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-201922-tx55dx600b.aspx

The brackets would remain the same price and either screen still includes our 6 year guarantee free of charge.
Delivery would be £6.99 or included in the Euro pricing.

New Panasonic screens are due our around May, June time.

Let me know what you think.

    Hi Ashdale5.

Unfortunately I just do not have the movement to be able to go to 1300 Euro for both.

Some of our competitors in the South are still priced at 949 Euro on the 55DX600 with only a one year warranty.

If you can find them cheaper on a like for like deal please let me know and I can check it out.

You can also opt to pay in sterling and let your bank do the conversion if it works out cheaper than the Euro total.

Let me know what you think.
