That was never a yellow lol...they've destroyed rugby

Rugby used to involve players tackling around the hips once upon a time. They can learn to do it again.

Even less in that and I think Ball is a dirty player
Very soft card but it was his second high tackle penalty.

I'd say the choke tackle is no longer a good option for Ireland anymore anyway

2 mins left and we're still kicking. FFS.

Must be a new record for box kicks, surely!

Awful attempted pass by Marshall at the end.

Ulster are shocking. Up there with Edinburgh and zebre away

    That was dismal

Fecking sick of this. No accountability. Dumb and dumber will still be there next season

  • Administrators Posts: 54,834 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    Complete and total rubbish.

How did they lose that? Seems like the worst thing for Ulster is being ahead in a match.
    0 second half points.

Why they decided to go up the sideline when they knew they had to keep the ball alive at all costs, and Luke wasn't even looking when he flung that pass into dead space

Penalty try was harsh and was the difference. Unlucky for Ulster, even if they didn't do much to deserve to win

    Bit ott

Ye are still in with an outside shout of European qualification. Also have an decent run of games coming up in pro 12, home to 2 Scottish teams, then 2 Italians, away to dragons and home to Cardiff. No reason why ye can't win at least 5 out of next 6 with a good few bonus points

That all came from a Scarlets penalty that was never a penalty in a million years. Henderson perfect turnover, absolutely text book.

If I'm thinking of the same event, Henderson did not release the tackled player. I thought it was a penalty.

Nah, that was Ulsters season over in 80 mins

He wasn't the tackler. Chris Henry was.

Only saw it once in real time but Henderson didn't seem to be involved in the tackle, and engaged over the ball once the tackle was made

Desperate stuff, thank god for the Six Nations coming up soon.

    How did Shanahan get on?

Ulster's best 9 may well be playing for Doncaster this weeken

He did well for 3-4 minutes then had a pretty abysmal 20 minutes following that.

He was even more prolific than Marshall with his box kicks, if that could be possible, with exactly the same amount of success. Sweet FA. Ulster really are screwed next year without Pienaar.

We're pretty ****ed this year *with* Pienaar.

Whatever about who is to blame, and there is no doubt Ulster have themselves to blame for a lot of their problems, but the more you look at it the more damaging the decision to force Pienaar out of Ulster becomes for Ulster rugby.

Right now we are fecked next season. We'll see who comes in, but we are in a desperate position now at scrum half.

Ulster badly need an 8. You can't play Henry and reidy together. espn scrum stats say the same. If ulster had a decent 9 they would have won that game. Thought your pack did well and Kane to me is nearly your best th in the squad. Joke of yellows both of them.
