Looking for a 40" Smart TV. Have heard good things about the Hisense - would you recommend this or is there a different brand you would suggest. What would be the best boardsie price for the Hisense 40" for delivery to ROI. Thanks very much.i

    Hi Tizer,

I'm a big Hisense fan - I think they offer a great combination of excellent picture quality, essential features and pricing - TBH they really are giving some of the more established manufacturers a run for their money esp in the 55/65" categories!

The downside to this success is that stock, especially on the non-core 32/40" categories is tight and we dont have any 40" smart Hisense stock available at the moment but I understand that the 40M3300 isnt too far away.

If you wanted an excellent alternative then do have a look at the LG 43UH603 - its now just €449 ( I've just taken it down by €20) including delivery & our 6 year warranty or £369 + delivery at £6.99 - I've listed the links for both options below:

    https://euro.richersounds.ie/p-202276-43quot-4k-smart-tv.aspx?swapstore=1
    https://www.richersounds.ie/p-202276-43quot-4k-smart-tv.aspx?swapstore=1

The 43UH603 is a really excellent package as its 4K Ultra HD HDR smart TV and of course when you add in the 6 year warranty you cant go too far wrong!

Thanks again and keep us posted if we can assist in any way,

    ATVB,

Thanks for your help. I might hold on for the Hisense - any idea when you might be getting them in - is it worth me waiting ?

    Hi tizer,

I don't have an incoming date at the moment unfortunately however if you want to try again next week I can check with our warehouse to see if they're any closer to having an ETA?

    Many thanks

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd just hijack this one.  I am looking for a 40 inch TV (can't be bigger) and so far I've been looking at some Samsung's.  I was wondering if I'd be able to get a higher quality TV if I don't bother with a Smart TV, or are all the decent TV's Smart nowadays?  If the former, can you recommend me a good 40 inch non-smart TV and give me a price incl delivery to ROI?

    Hey Budgemook.

Unfortunately most high spec TV's are all smart with very few produced that are not smart.

Here are the 40" Samung's at the moment but as you can see all are in store only collections:
    http://www.richersounds.ie/cssearch.aspx?searchterm=ue40k

The 40K5500 being smart but non 4k and the 40KU6400 in smart and 4K ready.

Panasonic also offer up a 40" the 40DX600 currently priced at £419.00 with £6.99 shipping

Let me know what you think.

    Regards

    Kenny.

    Thanks Kenny,

The 5500 looks good but I don't think I'll be in Belfast to collect as I live in Dublin.

What are your pick up locations?

Okay, thanks.  The Panasonic is a bit outside the budget so I will keep looking.

    Hey Budgemook.

I went through the buying process for it and unfortunately it says that they can not ship to the South of Ireland on this product.

They also charge £55 for a 3 year warranty, whereas we give our VIP 6 year with this screen free of charge.

For us to be able to offer a price beat it must be a like for like deal, including 5 or 6 year guarantee and delivery to you if it can not be collected locally.

    Hi,

I noticed that the Samsung UE40K5500 is now available to buy online.

    http://www.richersounds.ie/p-202053-ue40k5500.aspx

Are you able to do any better on the price on the site with delivery to ROI?

    Thanks!

    Hi Budgemook.

Unfortunately the best price on the 40K5500 is that listed on the website.

Price would be £369 with £6.99 shipping or 489.00 euro (Inc Delivery). Which ever price works out the cheapest for you.

Any questions drop me a post.
