Looking for a cell phone with a LOUD Ring!

The Loud ringing can either be in the phone day one or perhaps there is an app out there.
Application is my 90 year old father in law, his hearing is a bit impaired.
He is in great nick otherwise

His current phone is the iPhone 4.
PAYG solution preferred, money not really an object for the right solution.
A larger screen would help as well.

Don't limit yourself to a loud phone. I have a Sony Smartband SWR 10. It vibrates when the phone rings, even when the phone is on silent, or I'm not in the room with the phone. It connects to the phone over Bluetooth, and you need to charge it once a week.

This might be worth considering, or another similar device.

Theres the doro phones. I don't really like the operating system.

I find the Moto Phones have a great vibration.
