Tower pressure cooker issues

We got one of these

After about year its randomly started to lose steam and violently shoot out steam and water, so the folks stopped using it.

I’ve tried it and again randomly does the above, turned the seal both ways, checked the lids on ok etc.

I got it in march 2015 in home store and more, am I wasting my time going back to them or do I go directly to manufacture ?

If it's suddenly releasing steam from the lid seal, it's possible the pressure regulator valve could be clogged, assuming the lid has a safety release segment which allows the seal to release pressure in the event the regulator becomes clogged.

I looked it up and found 6 people saying the same on Amazon

Must be a crap seal as ive cleaned and checked everything

Also water does come out around the handle, so think in general just crap
