Early Childhood Diploma from UK equivalence to Irish FETAC level

Does anyone know what FETAC level will be equivalent to an early childhood diploma level 4 from UK?

From the link above, a UK level 8 would be equivalent to a Higher Cert (Level 6) in Ireland.

The Entry to an equivalent course in Ireland would generally a full FETAC level 5 award.

I am making a couple of assumptions here, it would be best to check with the admissions office of the UK college as they may have specific requirements, and of course I could be wrong.
