Bought one today and all fine, but just a question........ On the little computer screen where it says calories, distance, speed etc I'm not sure what the distance unit is! Doesn't say in the manual! What is it usually? Or the speed....

It's not really in any distance. Bikes may say km, or miles or whatever, but they aren't really calibrated to an actual distance.
Just use it a comparison from one session to the next
