Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We need more close quarter one touch football in their box.
    Only way to get in
These endless crosses are not our game.

Definitely not going to score now. Hopefully there won't be a sucker punch though.

Id say ye'll score 4

    13 corners not one chance.

Good play by Stewart. Christ that was panicky.

Klopp is going lose it at them in the dressing room after the game.

Difference is I'm not trying the jinx tactic. We genuinely won't score I think now.

Sturridge will score within 10 mins of coming on I reckon.

    You reckoned very wrong

Origi so slow to react there

    Way too slow in attack

Indeed. I'll be right with my current one though.

Need to play it to feet in box, make them defend of make a challenge.
I thought all the different levels played the Klopp way, hard to see that with all these crosses. Where is the one touch to feet play.

O right I had to make sure, the jinx wizards are easily tricked

    It's a complex procedure alright.

    The fox commentary is uggh...

    "Sturridge doesn't score consistently enough..."

If this ends in a draw I hope Klopp sends the kids again, it's clearly third on the list of things to do this season and every minute they play together in a game that matters is going to bring them along.

This is the worst game I've watched since Tuesday. Awful

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,855 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

Should be at least 6 mins injury time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,932 ✭✭✭✭Osmosis Jones

Plymouth are smart, give Moreno all the space in the world so Liverpool are tempted to pass it to him

If Liverpool did not have the semi final on Wednesday it would have been a different line up.

I still think he should start with the senior players get your goals or give them an hour and change it that way instead of bringing them on

I think stupid, niggly, needless fouls given away by Liverpool players annoy me more than anything else in football.

Liverpool making hard work of this league two outfit. Wouldn't rate any of these young lads from Liverpool. Liverpool could do without the extra game. Gonna be a busy few weeks.

Every time a player hits the ground, they win a free.
I thought they had to be fouled first?

Plymouth at home will be well up for it though. Probably an evening kick-off, biggest team in town in decades, tight pitch, big noisy atmosphere....all the hallmarks of an upset.

    Hmmm..

    6 minutes. Come on lads!

Fortunately their careers aren't based on 90 minutes.

Plymouth's ground has a bigger capacity than Bournemouth's lol.

Wednesday the 18th for the replay I'd imagine is the only possibility.

Stewart lines up his 6th shot of the game, again against a defender.

Sturridge keep shaping for the ball to feet, never gets it, even though he is in space.
    It's shocking decisions

Sure they will and they might well win it, that's not what I'm thinking about though. Sometimes you have to take a long view its the League Cup ties and the PL matters this season and I'd prefer to allow the U23s play competitive against gnarled professional opposition and learn - the U23 League is no sort of development environment.

In all fairness, he's eased off them in this half. Maybe he was told to at half-time.

    Plymouth deserve a draw.

Lucas lacking the composure he should be bringing to the team today.

Lucas volley from 30 yards was never likely to be the match winner.

It'll be a great windfall for them, which I like to see.

Why has everything gone down the flanks today? Close to 20 corners, countless crosses into the box and barely a header won.

Another clean sheet for the Pool. Motoring.

    Plymouth deserve a draw.

They hardly earned it, they were gifted it by a very poor display laced with very poor decision making.

  • Great result, more games is good

Klopp tactically out classed by Derek Adams there

Staggered at it, to be honest. I predicted a 4 or 5 goal win for you lot. And if you'd got an early goal, you probably would have gone on to hammer them, even with the side you had out. But the longer a side like Plymouth holds out, the more con fident they become. You'll dick them in the replay, it's just an extra game that you don't need.

Probably the worst game of football I have seen since the Blackburn cup game last year nothing to get excited about and no real promise shown by anyone

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,424 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

Never seen so many fans leave before full time only to rush back to see a corner.

    Graham Carey for Ireland!!

    Plymouth deserve a draw.

Plymouth did enough for the draw, but Liverpool clearly dominated play and should have won this.
