    Hi Guys,

Would you have an idea what would be involved and the cost of all fees and charges if you wanted to buy a strip of land and attach it to the back of an existing property? I have no idea what is involved, but let's say any cost outside of the actual piece of land purchase. Assuming the existing site and the house is located in a countryside and there is a farm land at the back and a small strip is to be purchased from the farmer. What steps are to be taken and how long the process would take, etc...

    Survey
    Draughting
    Legal registration
    Land registration
    Solicitor

Most likely an angineer or architect or similar with PI that gives a declaration.
€1k give or take total guess?

Priced a declaration of identity this week at €350 plus VAT but there's less involved in that iirc.

Thank you. Looks like quite a few procedures, but if the total cost would be in the region of €1k all in, not that bad.
