This is becoming a yearly thing! I'm with an insurer (liberty insurance), last year my quote was 540 euro, this year the renewal is 690 euro. I shopped around and made sure all my benefits were matched and I got it for 550 euro with 123.ie.

I called up liberty and explained I'd stay if they matched it or close to it for convenience. I was told they'd have to remove features from the policy to bring it down. I said no and moved.

This has happened the last 3 years (driving 12 yrs with claims free for 12 yrs). Why won't they just match it rather than lose me?
