The southern part of the country under the front with the rain, sleet and snow could get decent snow.

    North East Kilkenny hills:
    Temperature 0.9C
    Dew point 0.5C

Snow is falling, but need it a little cooler for it to stick

    In Kilkenny city:
    Temperature 3.1C
    Dewpoint 2.3C

Very encouraging to see so much precipitation on the Radar this morning. The colder air has not reached all of the country yet. It was always going to be a rain to sleet to snow transition.
Currently here in Waterford City we have light rain with a temp of 4.6c DP 2.6c

Western end of Dublin mountains look to have got a slight dusting

Can confirm they don't, it's just mist. Might be something above 500m, but not enough to play in.

Have patience! Later this morning/afternoon today was always the case.

Yeah, I'm not holding my breath but we'll see! What I mean is that a lot of my colleagues believed that they'd be waking up to it - but that hadn't been forecast at all sure. It's amazing how people just don't listen to forecasts or hear what they want to hear, lol

Temp down to 2° in Glencullen, D18 now. Think due point around 0°. Thankfully the drizzle has dried up so when the snow comes it'll stick pretty much immediately. :)
