Can confirm they don't, it's just mist. Might be something above 500m, but not enough to play in.

Whitest mist I've ever seen! :D

Fair play to the forecasters they said rain turning to snow and were spot on. All white here now in south Limerick despite the wet surfaces.

For Cork city expect rain to turn to heavy snow in about 40mins time. White out by lunchtime

Knock airport reporting -1c at 9:30am.

Just stopped snowing in kilrush, it was very wet so it didn't even come near sticking.

Roofs, foliage, and car now white.

It is quite heavy here on the high ground in Kilkenny. I told the sister she should collect her children from school, but she wants to get the shopping done.
I can't say she was not warned when the car doesn't make it the slopes.
Leaving shopping till last minute was not a good idea, did mine yesterday.

    It is fairly heavy snow.

Dew point gone negative here but bone dry, feeling cold. Will be heading up the mountains later I think for my snow fill!

Have a weather station?, why not join the Ireland Weather Network - http://irelandweather.eu/

And we were nervous earlier! Is the cold air this far south by now?

Snowing here near Mallow but not heavy enough to stick.

Dusting and 1c. Although nothing to write home about.

It would be nice to a few inches out of this. Is that possible where I live or am I being greedy?
