Very windy here in Kerry, plenty hail showers all day with a bit of snow but not sticking.
Slightly off topic but i cant fathom why the department of agriculture insist on farming by calendar dates, with all the dry weather we have had lately we could not spread slurry even though conditions were perfect. Now in 3 days time the window opens again but the weather could be terrible, and slurry ending up in rivers, sorry for the rant but if met eireann could announce when its suitable to spread, it would make much more sense.
    -Annoyed farmers wife :-)
