Snow on North Dublin/East Meath border. Not sticking but we are 50M from the shoreline here. Normally sit in the Isle of Man shadow for Easterly snow. This is a blue moon occurence. Even in 2010 we got very little.

how quickly things have changed!, went outside half an hour ago and there was nothing, just been outside and there is a nice dusting of snow, about half in inch on the car and grass.

What were you saying earlier? Apologize to the snow gods right now:D

Very light snow in Loughlinstown, too warm to settle.

    This is just the beginning
Look simply at Met Eireanns 6pm sat pic to see the collossal amount of showers in bands to the NW for 100's of miles all heading SE with the only place they can go being Ireland

    It's snowing in Clondalkin.

Touchdown! A good flurry of light snow here in Dublin 16. Sticking readily, but would need to keep going for another hour at least to make a real impact.

Massive snow shower passed here in Douglas about 15 mins ago, already a decent covering on the ground so far. Hope it will be topped up again soon. :)

Met Eireann's written forecasts a bit underwhelming.

Has just started to snow at UCD, light enough at present but significantly driven by the wind.

Both Dublin and Cork airports reporting snow, Shannon reporting sleet.

Temperature dropped from 5.4c to 2.7c here in West Clare in 15 mins.
Heavy graupel, not much wetness to it though,
