Complete non event in Cork City. Plenty of falling snow seen but not a flake settled.

Misleading post. You should have made it clear you're not in the town but actually on high ground over 5km from the town.

Meanwhile it is raining again in South Donegal.

I should have ye... It's just my closest town so to speak is Tullamore and I wasn't aware the town itself wasn't seeing the same action.

Look at the met.ie radar and know your geography.

Showers banding together in midlands but trajectory increasingly off for dublin as winds shift more northerly. Still good potential though.

Only a tiny flurry of snow fell about 1hour ago in athlone and didn't even stick. So disappointed.

    And it's stopped. :(

A mixture of heavy sleet and blizzard like conditions in West London from around 17.00-18.15 has led to a lot of lying snow, happy I got to see some of the action, but driving conditions were atrocious.

Temp up to 2.1C light snow has turned to sleet.

Ahhh... barely.. I want something substantial.

I want some sticky stuff... some traffic mayhem, and lethal lethal lethal being justifiably mentioned on red fm and 96fm every 5 minutes

Nothing happening now in North West Cork, 300m ASL. Small bits on the roadsides and fields but minimal overall.

temps risen here, our dusting of snow is melting and the next shower is over us and is falling as rain. That was probably the most snow i'll see all winter!.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,479 ✭✭✭Kamili

    Meh, melting here already.

Enormous amounts of lying snow on the ground here that stuck... I'm a bit surprised at the rest of the country not getting much. It's like everest there's so much snow here now.
