Large Hall in City Centre, Weekday Evening?

I'm a member of a medieval re-enactment group, and we're looking for a place that could accommodate our combat practices - rapier/longsword fencing and armoured combat. Such a place should have:

    1) A large hall (basketball-court sized)
    2) Toilets
    3) Parking for a few cars
    4) Proximity to city centre, such that nobody needs to take 2 buses to get there

It would also be lovely if it had some on-site storage and showers, but those aren't necessary.

A decade ago, we used Matt Talbot Hall, near Parnell Square, and more recently a warehouse in Pim Street (both gone due to being demolished, or possibly demolished soon in the case of Pim Street). We're currently using an assembly hall in Scoil Santa Maria on Synge Street and the Liffey Trust Dance Studios on Sheriff Street for the armoured and fencing respectively, on different nights, but we've outgrown both premises. The YMCA on Aungier street would be ideal, but they cite Christian Ethos in not wanting combat on their premises.

We can probably afford about €100 for the hall rental for an evening, ideally a Tuesday.

    Anyone have any ideas?

There is a downstairs fair sized room in the Teachers' Club might suit. No showers though. Worth asking anyway.

Perhaps http://www.standrews.ie/ - they're just behind Trinity and close to Grand Canal Dock. There'll be lots of free on-street parking after 7.

    Try some schools.
When in DIT, we rented the hall in Belvedere college for sports.
Also try Larkin Community College on Cathal Brugha Street.
