For no apparent reason, after years of never having one, I've developed a hankering recently for toffee apples. Nostalgia, I suppose. I used to love the taste and texture of them, crunching through the sweet toffee and into the apple. Perfect.

So my question is: Is there anywhere in Dublin I can buy toffee apples?

I've never seen them outside of Halloween season unfortunately.

    ^^^My favourite cooking site. :)

Easy enough to make them if you can't find any though it has to be said that toffee is probably the hottest substance in the world so have a care. Seriously. Not even joking. Try this method...

I have fond memories of always getting a toffee apple outside the zoo in my youth from the vendors there and then having to guard it from the feckin' apple stealing giraffes with their weird coloured tongues.
Also along the seafront in Bray was a spot where they could be found though like the zoo trips that was many decades ago.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.
