Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

What does 'IKC' registered mean? Is it only that the breeders were IKC registered, so it didn't come from a puppy farm?

If a dog is ikc registered it means that it, along with its parents are registered with the Irish kennel club. Doesn't guarantee that it hasn't come from a puppy farm.
Any puppy can be ikc reg if both parents are ikc reg too.

No it could still be from a puppy farm unfortunately. Look at it this way - we all know somebody who bought a car with a NCT that seemed above board only for it to turn out the seller was dodgy. You need to do your research and suss any potential breeder out the same as anything else you buy!
